Sustainable Waste Management

Events’ Waste Management Awareness – Kuching Food Festival/Jazz Festival/ Rainforest World Music Festival

Throughout the event, stations were set up for the public to educate them on the importance of waste segregation by our staff and volunteers. Public gets hands-on experience on proper waste segregation.

Impacts :

• Educate more than 8,000 public during Kuching Food Festival
• Involved more than 35 international volunteers
• Upcycled approximately 780kg of food waste, plastic waste, aluminium waste and paper waste during Kuching Food Festival
• 560 kg of biodegradable waste collected
